Blythe S.

Blythe was born and raised in Utah. Growing up she always knew she wanted to work with animals but she thought she would be a zookeeper or a veterinarian. When she was a young teen she started volunteering at the Hogle Zoo. She later used this experience to fulfill one of her childhood dreams and becoming a Zoo Keeper and developed a profound love of penguins. She decided to follow her passion in veterinary medicine working at a local veterinary clinic and attended Broadview College. She passed her Veterinary Technician National Exam in 2021. Once certified she she became a teacher at Broadview College until they closed in 2023. Blythe joined our team in April of 2023. When not working Blythe stays busy growing birdhouse gourds, sewing, quilting, and spending time with her boyfriend, her standard poodle Loki, 13 year old Chihuahua/ Dachshund mix Boo Boo Bear, and her hairless guinea pig Peppa Pig.
